Pleased to have started a new job as a Research Engineer in Spatial Modelling at Umeå University. I have joined Associate Prof. Heidi Burdett’s research group in Umeå to investigate blue carbon storage potential in Vietnam and Cambodia using a numerical modelling approach. This will be used to inform policy intervention and community engagement research beginning next year within the VR-funded Sustainability and Resilience research project. I had the chance to visit Umeå Marine Science Centre during the International Coralline Algae Meeting in 2023.
