Pleased to share that in September (very soon!) I am taking part in the Deep Ocean Collective Solution Accelerator program at Scripps Institution of Oceanography organised by the Deep Ocean Observing Strategy in La Jolla, California.
The “Collective Solution Accelerator” is composed of five concurrently run mini-workshops. Each mini-workshop is composed of a team of 12-18 people task with producing a set of deliverables or a road map for community in order to accelerate solutions toward a global deep ocean challenge. Teams are composed of oceanographers, explorers, modelers, managers, and conservationists from around the world.
We are basically coming together to solve unique problems in deep ocean science – in my case in benthic habitat classification video analyses. Our motto/ethos is “Collectively working together we can find a solution!”
